  11. ComponentSoftware Diff (CSDiff) is a powerful text file difference analysis tool for Windows 95/NT. Use it to analyze what have changed between two revisions of the same file. CSDiff is usually used to analyze program source files and HTML documents.

  13. Features of CSDiff:
  14. o Rich text display providing an intuitive and easy to examine differences analysis.
  15. o Synchronized views of rich text analysis and traditional UNIX diff format.
  16. o Easy navigation from modification to modification.
  17. o Print and print preview of difference analysis.
  18. o Freeware -- You may use it free of charge.

  20. CSDiff is part of CS-RCS -- GNU RCS compatible revision control system that is fully integrated with Windows 95/NT.

  27. Extract CSDiff.ZIP to your desired folder. To activate CSDiff, double-click on CSdiff.exe.

  29. Note: CSDiff requires a Microsoft DLL named MFC42.DLL. If you don't have this DLL installed on your machine, you may download it from many Internet software sites or from ComponentSoftware site at: http://www.ComponentSoftware.com/csdiff

  33. You may remove CSDiff from your machine simply by removing its files.

  35. *** Usage ***

  37. To activate CSDiff, double-click on CSdiff.exe or create a shortcut to it.

  39. You may run CSDiff from any external tool using the syntax:
  40. CSDiff FilePath1 FilePath2

  44. Windows 95 or Windows NT (3.51 & 4.0 or later).
